3D
This is where my 3D work is located. 3D is my newest passion. Whether it's creating content for video games, a scene for an FMV, or just a pretty looking picture, I'm a huge fan of 3D. Please click on the thumbnail for the full version of the picture.
This picture was my third endeavor in making realistic water. I'm getting there. I still think this picture looks pretty cool. OMG Abstract!
This was my first try at making a sunset on the ocean. Instead of letting the raytracing do all the work, I tried hand painting the upper part of the reflection map, which gave it a more artistic, less technical look.
This was created, from scratch, for my Game Content Creation course, a course that, unsurprisingly, showed us how to create content for use in video games. The final poly count on this sucker is a mere 996 polygons. The texture was created in Photoshop, forged from the black heart of a dragon that resides at the center of the Earth.
For now, yes. I'll eventually add more art here, but I'm more worried about getting my portfolio up with a few pieces of my best art then I am about throwing up a ton of artwork.
I've got some serious chops with 3D Studio Max. When it comes to 3D, it's my program of choice. But I pick other programs up easily, so this isn't the be-all, end-all.
